2. How We Use Cookies
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Site to function (security, load balancing, remembering your cookie choices). These do not require consent.
- Preference cookies — would remember choices such as language or region. We do not currently set any; the category exists in the banner so the choice stays yours if that changes.
- Statistics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the Site (pages visited, time on page) in aggregate, so we can improve content. These are set only with your consent.

Security. The service that protects the Site and its contact form stores nothing on your device in normal use. It may set a short-lived security cookie (cf_clearance or __cf_bm) only if it needs to check that a visitor is a person before the Site loads; this is strictly necessary and needs no consent. The WhatsApp and email links in our footer set nothing until you click them.
Google asks for a two-year lifetime on its analytics cookies. Browsers no longer honour that — most now cap any cookie at around 13 months, and some cut cookies set by JavaScript, like these, considerably shorter. The figures above are the maximum your browser will keep, counted from your most recent visit, because Google renews these cookies each time you return. If you would prefer we shortened them further, tell us and we will.
4. Your Choices
- Consent banner — on your first visit you can accept, decline, or customize non-essential cookies, and you can change your preferences at any time via the cookie settings link on the Site.
- Browser controls — every major browser lets you block or delete cookies (typically under Settings → Privacy). Blocking necessary cookies may affect how the Site functions.

5. Retention
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for a set period or until you delete them. Our own consent cookie lasts 12 months; the Google Analytics cookies, set only if you accept them, last 13 months from your most recent visit. Section 3 lists every one.
