Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent Snag Vogue Photographer’s Montauk Home

Interior designers Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent are officially Hamptonites (well, technically Montaukers—but close enough). The pair just snagged a sprawling estate from acclaimed photographer Raphael Mazzucco.

Mazzucco has shot the cover of Vogue magazine eight times, as well as the covers for three Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues. As expected given its previous owner, the home boasts some pictureseque features.

Take the landscape-style windows that look out onto the property’s expansive pool and yard, for example, or the paint-splattered floors of the den.

There’s also a sunken-in dining room, a stone bathroom with teak tub, a koi pond, and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen.

The master bath features a full sauna, massive rainfall shower, and Arizona turquoise sink—not to mention infrared technology.

Artwork is also featured throughout the property, and much of the home’s reclaimed wood hails from the old Montauk Yacht Club, which was renovated about a decade ago.

The home was initially listed back in 2017 for $4.35 million. Though the parties are keeping the final price tag quiet, the listing was recently reduced to $1.59 in July.

Dylan Eckardt, a real estate broker with Nest Seekers, represented both Mazzucco and Berkus/Brent.

“For them to put their touch on it will make it one of the most amazing houses in Montauk,” Eckhardt said.
